I have a new favorite!
I saw it a few days ago and it just will not let me go.
A fairytale about life, death, and rebirth. A blend of
myths from around the world woven together into a masterpiece.
I love movies like this. It reminds me of 'WHAT DREAMS MAY COME'.
The whole atmosphere just pulled me in.
A movie that will linger for a long time.

This month's rose is...


RHAPSODY IN BLUE

It's a very young rose. It was created in the year 2000 by
Warner's Roses, UK.

It starts off being reddish purple and slowly fades into a more blueish tone.
That's what makes this rose an absolute bestseller.

It's very slim and slender and grows to a height of about 120 cm.
It might need a bit of support.
The blooming will continue through out the season.
There is little to no scent.

My stomach still hurts... I'm still laughing.

GRINDHOUSE - PLANET TERROR
The best description: Gory!
Robert Rodriguez makes the best bad movies ever.
If you think FROM DUSK TILL DAWN was messy and crazy please
go see this movie. A lot of good old characters show up
and laughs are not far apart. Rodriguez and Tarrantino
are true masters at capturing that dirty gritty look from the 70's
that makes the GRINDHOUSE movies so cool.
Absolutely love it!

I was admitted to the university of Copenhagen and am now getting ready to study Film- and media science.

All though it makes me a bit sad not to be seeing roses all day, I am happy and very excited.

I will continue the ROSE OF THE MONTH

Since I will be seeing a lot of movies, I'll start giving you my fresh opinions shortly after I've seen one.
Tonight I'll be watching GRINDHOUSE - PLANET TERROR
So hold on for my rant.

Our latest trip to Blockbuster has so far made following rants possible:

SNAKES ON A PLANE
Very unexpected. It's definitely a fresh story and the action was good,
but it seemed a bit out of control. Like a bunch of male producers sitting together and putting things in the movies
they think is cool.
"Yeah, and the bad guy is an asian martial arts master... and... and snakes... and chicks sucking
out poison, hell yeah."
All in all a good action movie and pretty fun.

CLERCS 2
Kevin Smith at his best. A tad funnier than the first.
Absolutely hilarious. The same great characters and nice hints to other Kevin Smith movies, like
a tiny cameo of Ben Afleck.

I know I know! It's been too long.

But I have lots of news!
I've started working at 'Løve Rosenplanteskole' or in english 'The rose garden at Løve'.

I absolutely love it! I get to work with these fantastic flowers surrounded by amazing scents.
My colleagues are beautiful flowers too.

That's why I've decided to add a new category.

ROSE OF THE MONTH

The first rose in this category will be:

EVELYN



I didn't just choose this beauty because she shares her name with my youngest niece, but I just
love this sweet gentle peachy color.

She is an Austin rose with a wonderful exotic heady scent.
She will grow to a height of about 1m and have a diameter of 80cm.
The amazing blossoms will continue make you smile form june till at least september.
She is the daughter of the Austin roses 'Graham Thomas' and 'Tamora'.

I hope you enjoy these small excursions.

Well it's been a while.

I've finally taken the time to add lots of stuff to the galleries.
I've created an extra gallery called Artstuff.
This contains three subfolders so far.

This sunday my sweetheart Alex is turning 30! Old geezer!
His best friend from Germany is hopefully coming.
Sadly you never quite know it with this guy.
Well, on the other hand he's such a cool person to be around.

I've sent my application for Film-and mediascience, but
I'll get the notice if I got the spot July 28th. Yawn!

Oh yeah, by the way...
Our school wanted us to come talk to the new students of Multimedia-design about our trip to India.
So we went there and told them all about it.
The school had invited a journalist from the local newspaper to interview us.
They printed a double page feature about us.
Now a national paper want's to do an interview with us. To weird.

I tell you... we're reaching for stardom.

The only stupid thing is that I intially had the idea to sell the story about the trip as a blog, but
everyone told me that it was a useless idea, so I dropped it.
Man, could I bite my butt by now.

I'll post the newspaper clippings as soon as I can.
